February, 2005         Progress Report

We have just received the structural engineers report telling us what size beams to use in the basement.  This is important, because we are trying to create a large open space down there for our performance center.  By the end of the month we should have those beams purchased and put in place, and then we can lower the house on the foundation.

Happy Valentines Day!!!  The Fiddlers celebrated in style by signing the Cooperative agreement with local developer Ken Karl.  This allows the project to go forward as a 501 c(3) and insures that there will be an appropriate end use for this wonderful old house.
